Just in time for Halloween! These castles bring so much spooky fun and excitement to
the art room. This is a great introduction to the world of creating art with construction paper, glue, and scissors. Gaining confidence with cutting skills is important for students to be able to express their thoughts visually using paper. One of the great things about making art with these humble materials is that they can spark so many ideas as students work through the creative process. 1st graders are building their castles to look like silhouettes on bright paper. 2nd graders are attempting the extra challenge of making their castles as stand-alone forms.
